I just don't understand why the elite college football programs in the country can't develop their own quarterback? I mean, did Oregon think that Marcus Mariota was going to be there forever? They didn't bother to recruit quarterbacks and develop them? Wisconsin did it with Russell Wilson and the Maryland transfer. I know that Alabama recruited some really good quarterbacks, why not use them, why take one that is only going to be there for one year.

Does anyone think Ohio State and Urban Meyer would have to get a graduate transfer to play quarterback?
