Michigan announced today that because Harbaugh is too busy running all over the country recruiting in his "sponsored" football camps, he and the staff no longer have time to put on a single day football camp for the public.

"Athletic Department Statement (March 30, 2015)

As we all know, there are a significant number of worthy projects for social good and we must balance those needs with both time and resources available. Every new coach looks forward to shaping his program, and that includes philanthropic activities.

Right now, the coach needs to stay focused on getting the team in shape. Consequently, we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue the Michigan Men's Football Experience and Women's Football Academy in their current state. However, we will host a 2015 preseason event to thank the most dedicated participants who have supported the fundraising efforts of these two events and honor the contributions made to the Health System over time. Details will be available soon."

The statement goes on for several more paragraphs detailing all the philanthropic things participated in by the athletic department, etc.

So , the Harbaugh effect.
