...That the B1G would have at least 1 victory over every power 5 conference:

(SEC): Ohio State defeats Bama. Wisconsin defeats Auburn.

(Big 12): Michigan State defeats Baylor.

(ACC): Penn State defeats Boston College. Rutgers defeats North Carolina.

Two B1G teams have fallen to Pac 12 teams this bowl season: Nebraska just barely falling short of an epic comeback against USC, 45-42. And Maryland was ripped apart by Stanford, 45-21. (All be it, having both of those games played in California for a "neutral site" game.)

I'd say for the conference that is the butt of every joke when it comes to the vastly overrated "conference pride," that would be quite an accomplishment to claim at least one victory against a team from every other power 5 conference. But of course, this Monday's game means much, much more than just "conference pride," but I think we all knew that already.
