The rumor mill is in full swing about who TSUN will bring in to coach their team next year. Everyone wants to jump on the Harbaugh or Miles bandwagon, but I don't see them as realistic candidates.

One name that has been bantered around is Steve Addazio, current HC of Boston College.

Here's why he could be come TSUN's next HC:

Brad Bates (current AD at BC) has been mentioned as a possible permanent AD at TSUN. He is a TSUN graduate, and played for Bo. It would not be a stretch to think he might try to bring his current football coach with him ...

Addazio has that "toughness" that seems to fit the mold of a B1G coach. Somewhat conservative in his play calling, which seems to fit TSUN's modus operandi.

After coaching for 19 years at the college level, with 2 years as an OC at Indiana (2002-2004), and another 2 at Florida (2009-2010 under Urban!) and with 2 year stints as a HC at Temple and BC, he's ready to take the helm of a major program. He's only 55, which is reasonably aged for the position.

Here's why he likely won't be HC at TSUN:

His record as a HC at Temple and BC is 27-22 (.551). Good, but not great. Is this the pedigree needed to assume the reigns of college football's winningest program?

He has never won a conference title as a HC. His bowl record is 1-1.

He's an East Coast guy through and through. Born in Connecticut, played for Central Conn., and he's declared B.C. as his "Destination School".

Rumored to be in the running for the Fla. HC position (arguably a more attractive position than TSUN right now).

So, what do you think? Is this the right guy for TSUN? Only time will tell, but my money is that there are other choices who will be more likely to end up at the helm of the dumpster fire in Ann Arbor.
