The meltdown for That Team's fans continues again this week. I have posted some of the gems from MGoBlog.com so you don't have to read all 180+.
That Team's fans on Hoke, the coaches and the program:
M-Dog:
The magic is gone. The party is over.
WolverineLake:
Seven years of futility with no end in sight. I'm not sure what to do during the Fall. Nothing to look forward to until spring.
Man, that all sucks. Feck.
jjdog720:
Glad i gave away my tickets to the game. It appears I will be doing that the rest of the year if someone actually will take them.
FanNamedOzzy:
$40 dollars out the window. I paid $40 too much to go to that game. Why did I do it?? From the non-existent offense to the JOKE of a halftime show, it was easily the worst Michigan game I have EVER attended. The halftime show focus was on CONSTRUCTION and WEATHER. WUT???
AaronStark19:
I gave up in the 3rd. I didn't give up because I'm a fair weather fan I gave up because it crushes my soul to watch this team.
maizenblue92:
Hoke's wikipedia page currently states he is unemployed.
Soon, soon.
pdgoblue25:
If I don't go to work on Monday and do my job, I will get fired. Why is Hoke's job any different?
The saddest part isnt that Utah just came into the fucking Big House and won for the 2nd time in a row (please, read that part again). The saddest part is that I expected it to happen. Goodbye Coach Hoke.
mgob-rad:
Nussmeier has been here for four games and in the two games we have faced a team with a pulse we have scored 3 points in 7 quarters. Mattison in his four years despite a ton of talent has never put together a great defense.
CoverZero:
In two games vs. ND and today, Michigan's offense never got in to the Red Zone one time.
So much for Nussmeier and tossing Borges under the bus. Cut the head of the snake off now and can Hoke. Let Mattison be the interim and start the hiring process for the HC.
massblue:
How about Kyle Whittingham?
Let's face it Hoke is gone. There was never any evidence that he was a good coach and now we have ample evidence and he is not.
I liked what Utah was doing. Well prepared and out muscle and out smarted our 4-5 star players with 2-3 star players. Imagine what he can do with our talent.
tbone23:
How delusional are Mich fans who think our job is a top 10 job anymore? It isn't. That's not me being a cynical fan that's just straight up the facts as things stand in today's landscape. Mich is not a top coaching destination. There is a serious disconnect between what our fans think of our program and what the rest of college football thinks of us. Programs that are a better job opportunitity than us right now:
Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, USC, FSU, Georgia.
And that's without having to think too hard. And yes I do believe these programs are better coaching opportunities than Mich. The first step to resurrecting the program is knowing where you stand and I believe that if the entire fanbase thinks we deserve the second coming of christ as our next coach, then nothing wiill change here.
Umich Agent 0:
If you are more embarrassed by the fans than the program...
Then I'm not sure if we are watching the same team. We aren't upset just because we are losing, we are upset because this is a fucking joke. Has been for 8 years now. This is not Michigan, and I refuse to sit here and support my team unconditionally when they put that product on the field. They don't deserve our support right now, and Dave Brandon sure as shit doesn't deserve any more of my money. There has to be a point where we stop accepting this shit, and that time is now. If everybody was like you we'd just keep putting 100,000 in there and nothing would ever change for the better. Dave would make his money and he'd be fine being mediocre. Something has to change.
markusr2007:
That's a lot of water.
Now why is it not going down the drains like Brady Hoke's career?
elhead:
Well, our TEAM is terrible and our COACHES are unbearable. That's about it.
That Team's fans on Rich Rodriguez:
Bosch:
could have gone differently if RR was given 1) the support that Hoke has been given. 2) the ability to pay top salaries to his coordinators like Hoke was given. 2) a 4th year like Hoke was given.
MUUM79:
This is the truth. Proof is what he's accomplished at Arizona in his first three seasons with the support he lacked here.
His teams improved every season while Hoke's team has gotten worse. We made our own bed.
That Team's fans on Jim and John Harbaugh:
caliblue:
JH will not come here. Why would he ? He has a job at a great pro team and why would you think that he would leave that ? Because he's a Michigan man and will heed the call of the alumni to save us ? Get real ! Nobody will save us because we are Michigan , they would need something more than that.
Drbogue:
Probably because he's going to be let go at the end of the season by the niners
UMForLife:
This end of the year thing need to stop. Fire him now. I like the guy, but he is not going to do it. Let have an interim and search for a coach. Wait for the Ravens to explode with the news of Harbaugh wanting Rice gone and the owner didn't. It will get ugly and if he is presented a good choice, he might take it. I don't know if he will be good in college, but he seems to be a good coach. You can't win a superbowl, if you are not a good coach.
EGD:
Drama Yes, I am sure that the best way to get John Harbaugh to come here us to publicly humiliate Hoke and appoint an interim coach (who could very well win 6+ games in a weak B1G). That should do wonders for our recruiting as well.
