Does the B1G have any hope on the east coast?

The B1G is now advertising with the Yankees.

I think it's great that Jim Delany and the boys are trying to expand interest in the conference but it's going to be an uphill slog to make the northeast B1G country. What do you guys think? Is it worth even trying to make NYC and Jersey college football fans, or are we just wasting our time? How should the B1G go about it?

All roads lead through State College and New Brunswick.

Sigh.

Right market, wrong time. Not sure if Delany truly sees on-field success before he's done...but the revenue will be there.

They should tell all the B1G teams to lose to Rutgers and Maryland. A bunch of NYers and Baltimore people will hop on the bandwagon and that should get things going.

Braxton could try to lose and he'd still run for 200 yards and 4 tds on Rutgers lol

I have mixed reactions to the advertisement - If they continue - I hope it works out.
