Looks like it's going to go down to the wire. Turn on BTN if you want to see panic from tsun. If they beat IU, that would mean it would be a three way tie, not a four way tie, for first (assuming we win sun).

The one positive (I always look for silver linings) is that ttun will be more motivated to beat IU since they have something to play for.

Agreed. It was really bittersweet. While I love a good scUM loss, I figured if they lost tonight they wouldn't be motivated for the game against IU and would crap out.

Its sad how lucky scUM has gotten to win their last 2, bad plays by the other teams resulting in bad passes and turnovers

let's hold on there a minute. i did not see any highlights from the purdue game last night, but i did watch a bit of the michigan game vs. msu. yes, the spartans didn't play their cleanest, but it looked to me like many of the turnovers were attempts at actual defense, something michigan has lacked most of the year. now that they aren't raining down 3's every other possession, they need defense to beat their opponents. now we may not like them, but don't take anything away from trey burke's performance against msu. BIG defensive plays from a tough player that essentially has to do everything himself in order for them to win

MSU shat their pants on the play that could've given them the lead. Not saying it was a gimme, and Burke made a great play, but it was an arguable worse final attempt than Shannon Scott running down the court and chucking the ball at the glass.

There are few things worse than not getting a gw shot attempt off or getting sacked on the hail mary play to end a game.

It looked like Harris got rattled by good initial defense (there was hitch or a bobble, IIRC) and then tried to improvise. It seemed like he was supposed to go to the right, where a screener was waiting. Once he started going left, Burke stepped in on the telegraphed pass.

I actually didn't get to see the final 1:30 of the game last night because of inept user DVR recording practices, but that was not a lucky win, by any stretch. It was a hard-fought game by both sides and was fairly even. Michigan blew an 11-point lead early and fought back to come back from down 12, half way through the second.

Well, maybe it was luck. Michigan is lucky that Trey Burke is on their roster. He had, I think, 4 points in the 1st and finished with 26. His aggressiveness was leading to direct points or trips to the foul line.

Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

Purdue's big turned his ankle, and it really changed the game. He was absolutely dominating the glass, and did a good job finishing inside. What a frustrating game to watch.
