I'm not sure how many of you follow high school basketball, or how closely you do so. But the state finals for girls basketball are today. My alma mater The Lady Rockets of Anna, OH just won a state championship! It was their third straight state finals appearance and second title in that stretch.

Congrats buck4life. I watched the game on TV here in Columbus. Anna looked really good, played a tough Africentric team. I went to Jackson Center many years ago. It's always good to see Shelby County teams do well. It's neat also that Ft. Loramie is going for the D4 championship later today. Shows how tough that little league really is and they play pretty good ball out on the farm!!!!

Ft. Loramie wins D4 girls championship. I wonder if two schools from the same conference have ever won state titles in two different classes in the same year. Great for Shelby County highschool basketball.

Absolutely a great day to be from Shelby County. Also worth note is that Anna's coach Jack Billing will be retiring. He was only with the team for 5 or 6 years and made the state finals 3 times.

Those are tomorrows games, Alter has the PG AJ Harris and SVSM has VJ King in terms of Ohio State Recruits
Alter does not have AJ Harris. Harris is a sophomore that plays for Dayton Dunbar, who Alter beat in the previous round.
Alter has a senior PG named Jaaron Simmons that is really good (but not tOSU good).
I'm from Minster, Ohio and all the sports around that area are just great. Football wins at least one title every year in the conference and there are always basketball and baseball teams competing. Great sporting events every Friday and Saturday no matter what time of the year.
Alter is always tough in basketball and football. Been dunked on by Andy Meyer and run over by Jerry Rudzinsky.
