Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? No. I don't think the game will be remotely close to be honest.

5. Yes
6. Yes
7. I would say it will probably be 6/7 or 5/7. But I would put the chances at about 50% that everyone wins
8. OSU, Kansas, Duke, Indiana
9. VCU if they can be considered one... I think they have a good chance at a Final Four
10. The Jackrabbits are my second favorite team.
1) indiana
2)Wisconsin
3) No one really
4) Final FOur
5)No
6)No
7) i have no idea what the odds are, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say 5 win. I'll say 39% chance all 7 win.
8) Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas, and Syracuse
9) Bucknell
10) It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if Michigan lost.
Okay, Talbert, you know I think highly of your commentary. However, your complete lack of any fraternal support for the Big Ten conference and your closet affections for freakin' Kentucky-based teams mean that I'm going to have pick on you now . . .
If you're guessing that 5 out of 7 Big Ten teams will win in the first round (I refuse to call it the "second round"), then 39 percent is probably a very bad guess at the odds they go 7-0.
If you're guessing +/- 5 wins maybe you'd tabulate somewhat as follows: Indiana (99+ percent chance of winning), Ohio State (+97 percent), Michigan (80 percent), MSU (80 percent), Wisc. (.65), ILL (.45) and Minn (.45). Whatever adjustments you'd make to these guesses, this combination roughly projects to 5 wins +/-.
Well, the odds of 7-0 under the above assumptions are about 0.08.
Again, sorry to pick on you, but it would hurt my feelings if Michigan or Wisconsin lost in the first round and/or Louisville won it all.
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Louisville.
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? If I'm going with realistic upset possibilities, I'd say VCU.
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? Wisconsin - enough of them already!
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? Final 4; lose in semifinal.
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? Yes - two.
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? No.
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? About 1 in 5. Indiana is a mortal lock to win. Ohio State, Michigan, and MSU will very likely win. Wisconsin will probably win. I give slight edges to Minn and ILL in their matchups.
Who is in your final four? Tentatively, I have Duke/Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas, and Syracuse/Indy.
Who is this year Cinderella? I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise if the upper half of Ohio State's West bracket goes haywire - the winner of the Pittsburgh/Wichita State game could upset Gonzaga, Kansas State ain't that good, Wisconsin is susceptible to losing against lower talent opposition that doesn't mind slowing the game down, etc. Likewise, I feel like the lower half of the East bracket could also get weird - Marquette's pod with Butler, Bucknell, and Davidson is a crap shoot; Miami is a solid, fundamentally sound team, but vulnerable.
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? No. If they'd faced Akron, I probably would have pulled for the Zips, but otherwise I almost always root for Big Ten teams in the tournament. P-o-s Crean is going to test my policy on this, of course.
1) Kansas
2) Michigan
3) Wisconsin
4) Final Four
5) No
6) No
7) Not likely, I'm betting somewhere between 4-3 or 6-1
8) Duke, Ohio State, Florida, Miami
9) Oregon to the sweet 16 and Bucknell will beat Butler and maybe Marquette
10) Yes
I'm really struggling with the East region, I don't see Indiana making it out but I can't decide who will
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Tie between Michigan & Indiana
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? Michigan
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? New Mexico
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? National Championship winner over Indiana with Crean crying about OSU wrecking the Indiana program
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? Yes.
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? Yes.
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? It ain't happening.
Who is in your final four? for now it's Louisville, OSU, Georgetown, Indiana
Who is this year Cinderella? Middle Tennessee State
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? Yes. Will they? Probably not.
"What we do in life echoes in eternity"
I still can't believe no one is picking Iona as the team they want to lose in the second (first) round.
If I could pick one team and one team only to lose their first game, I would pick Iona.
That's a great point lol!
"What we do in life echoes in eternity"
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Indiana, because I don't really believe Michigan has a shot
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? Indiana, Michigan (I know that's 2 but I can't pick just one)
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? Wisconsin. Hate their style of play and don't want to have to look at Bo Ryan again
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? Final 4
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? No
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? No
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? Someone will lose. It always happens (also, I'm assuming you are referring to what used to be the first round, with the play-in games now being the first round. If you really mean 7 B1G teams in the Sweet Sixteen--no chance).
Who is in your final four? Louisville, OSU, Georgetown, Miami
Who is this year Cinderella? Belmont, because we won the "Belmont League"
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? Of course
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Indiana.
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? Indiana.
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? Gonzaga.
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? I may change my mind, but as of now I have them doing as well as last season: a loss in the national semifinals.
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? Yes.
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? Despite my answers above I have Indiana winning the whole tournament, so yes.
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? Decent. I think Minnesota is 50-50 to beat UCLA, and everyone else is favored--most favored by a bunch. I'd give it a 1-in-3 chance.
Who is in your final four? Indiana, Louisville, Kansas, OSU.
Who is this year Cinderella? Depends on how one defines terms. If you mean a seed below 4th that has a chance to get to the Final Four, I actually think Wisconsin has a shot. If you mean "team with little or no recent success"...well, I think Belmont might be underseeded, and they're playing a first round opponent with a history of inexplicable tournament losses.
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? Of course. It would serve Brady Hoke right for always calling them "South Dakota."
The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W.
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Obviously UM
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? Duke (two years in a row, hilarious)
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? Gonzaga
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? Final 4
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? Yes (IU, OSU)
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? No, I see a Big East team winning
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? 60%, I picked all but Illinois to win
Who is in your final four? Louisville, OSU, Georgetown, Indiana
Who is this year Cinderella? I've got Pitt (8 seed) and Butler (6 seed) in my Elite 8
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? No, but wouldn't be too upset if it happened
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Who is the one team you don't want to win it all? Tie between Michigan & Indiana & Duke
Name one team you want to lose in the first round? Tie between Michigan & Iona
Who is the team you want to avoid in West region where Ohio State is playing? New Mexico
Where will the Buckeyes finish in this year tournament? National Championship winner over Florida, sweet redemption
Will the Big Ten get two or more teams in the Final Four? Yes, OSU & IU
Will this be the year the Big Ten ends the NCAA curse? Yes.
Of the second round games, seven Big Ten teams are playing. What are the chances the Big Ten goes 7 for 7? Could, but I think 6 of 7 with the Illini losing
Who is in your final four? Louisville, OSU, Florida, Indiana
Who is this year Cinderella? Good question!
Do you want Michigan to lose to the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits? Yes, that would be FUN!
