As far as seeding for the B1G Tourney, we want MSU to win, correct? As far as I can see in the event of a tie, we have the tie breaker over MSU but not Wisconsin, based on record against IU. I think.

This question can best be asked by wither or not you want to play Michigan, Michigan State or Wisconsin in the Big Ten semifinals assuming we get there. Now for me, I rather play Wisconsin since they are less of a threat. Also, I want Michigan to have that hardest path to the finals and to not play them until then. If Michigan gets the 5 seed and had to play Penn State again (hahaha) and either MSU or Wisconsin they would stand a better chance at beating them based on their style of play in a potential #4 vs #5 game. Moreover, they would have to play Penn State, then the No. 4 vs. No. 5 game, then likely play Indiana and finally some other team. I don't want to see Michigan win anything, even if that means we don't get a share of the Big Ten title. Therefore, I will root for the scenario that allows that.
As you can see above, the odds for Michigan getting a 5 seed increase a lot more if Wisconsin wins tonight, therefore we root for Wisconsin. On Wisconsin. Badger, badger, badger.....

Personally - any thoughts about seeding are out the window. As long as we take care of business against Illinois, we are a 2 or 3 and avoid Indiana until the finals (potentially).

Well, like BME said, it depends on who you want to play in our second game if we win the first.
I might be wrong, but we still might have a chance to face Indiana before the finals if Michigan beats them and Wisconsin wins tonight....
Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana would all be tied and it would go to overall record against all the other teams.
Wisconsin is 3-1
OSU went 3-3
Indiana would go 2-3
Michigan would go 2-3
The tie breaker for Indiana and Michigan I BELIEVE would be the record against the other teams starting at the top. Their record against Wisconsin would be first and would be....
IU - 0-1
Michigan - 0-1
Then it would keep going down the list until one team gains an advantage.
Next up, Ohio State...
IU - 1-1
UM - 1-1
Now Michigan State (since they obviously can't compare to each other)
IU - 2-0
UM - 1-1
Indiana wins. They would be the #3 seed and Michigan would be the #4.
So that means we could face Indiana our second game assuming both teams win their first.
Hope that all makes sense and is right haha...

This is all assuming we beat Illinois and Michigan beats Indiana of course. It all changes if that doesn't happen.
