Unfortunately, he still has one year left after this, and knowing him, he’ll work the refs to get him four more. The only thing that makes me feel better about Aaron Craft is knowing that this is his life’s peak, that he’s going to be stuck talking about his college days for the rest of his life, while everyone else at the real estate office nods along, bored, having heard the same stories so, so many times before.

I don't get it.

Even if I wasn't an OSU fan I don't think Craft would bother me at all. The kid plays hard, end of story. No jawing, no attitude, just hustle.

I've never paid any attention to Deadspin before, so that ain't changing.

Hope Craft and company wind up disapointing these morons come early next month.

The first one is actually an appreciation of Craft. The second is written by an Illinois grad/fan and basically hits every fallacy exposed in the ESPN article about why fans hate Craft. I can guarantee that Leitch would be in absolute love with Craft if he played for the Illini.

I think he fails to realize that this probably won't the craft's peak. 3.9 gpa pre-med while playing top D1 bball. I honestly don't get the hate. Fans always say he fouls, but OPPOSING coaches this he's the best defender they've seen. Don't you think the coaches, if anyone, would be sour?

Something happened recently at Deadspin (very recently, like post-Manti)- they changed their look and have a lot less content going up. I'll check every few days to see if anything by Magary is up, and if not, I go somewhere else.

I really like Nantz. I think he does a great job and he lets the games he covers be about the players. He doesn't try to make it about him! That's why I hate guys like Gus Johnson and Dick Vitale. They have these personalities and their antics take away from what is going on in the game. It's like Vitale, shut up and talk about what's going on on the court. Gus, every play isn't a game winning shot at the buzzer, tone it down some.

Nantz is known for calling the Cleveland Browns on a weekly basis as well as his defense of Michael Lombardi, and has taken a lot of criticism for his defense, which is completely justified in my opinion. It's too soon to tell if he will fail with the organization and he could be approaching the job differently than he did last time with Cleveland.

Gottlieb's radio show was terrible, he's horrendous in the studio as an analyst too. WHO THE HELL THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE HIM CALLING GAMES?!?!?!?! It was actually hard to listen to him last night.

Yeah I was watching games yesterday ~~at work~~ and I actually turned off the sound and listened to the radio instead because he was so terrible.

Plus he is so adamant on arguing with every single person he meets. I've lost count on how many times he's complained about Oregon's seeding.

I know! It's like thanks for the breaking news Doug. No one else on earth knew there were underseeded. He's just pissed because they had to play Oklahoma State in the first round. He knew his Cowboys would have a really hard time beating them and it made him salty as hell.

I had to miss the Ohio State/Michigan State game in the tournament because I was running a trail race all day. I knew the result when I got back into cell reception, looked at my phone, and saw a text message from one of my employees (who is an MSU graduate) that said "Congrats. And I HATE Aaron Craft."
