I don't know where to put this since it doesn't have anything to do with tOSU. However, after watching both IU and KU multiple times this season, I have no idea why all the talking heads are saying Zeller is a top of the lottery pick and Withey is a bottom of the 1st round pick. To me, they are extremely similar players. I think if you put Withey in Zeller's position at IU then he puts up similar numbers to Zeller, and vice versa with Zeller in Withey's position at KU. Zeller is two years younger and the two are nearly identical in size. Zeller scores more, but Withey is more efficient. Minutes per game, rebounds, assists, steals, fouls, and turnovers are very close to each other. The biggest difference; however, is blocks. Withey has 136 while Zeller has 44. If I were an NBA GM, I don't take either until right around 13, and Zeller would probably be my first choice. If I have a pick around 13 and I wanted Zeller who is already taken, I am very pleased with Withey as a consolation prize. Is this thinking crazy, or am I on to something?
