As much as I want to see Thad and the boys win it all, with no real inside/post player and without our guards being a real threat to make, or even attempt more than a 3 pointer or two a game, I don't know how probable it is.
Yes, I know it's the same weakness we've had all season and as a team we just shot 50% from 3 yesterday, but when the opposing guards can sag inside the 3 point lane with Craft and/or Scott and help the interior D AND the opposing big man can also afford to help off Amir/Evan (without getting burned much) it really makes it harder for us to get the easier interior points, rebounds and fast break points. We got zero fast break points the whole game yesterday.
A team can win it all without a solid big man and a team can win it all without guards who shoot the 3, but even with a great D, it's going to be a stretch to over come both flaws. Let's hope Q an the other forwards stay hot from 3 and Craft builds off that game ending dagger and shoots (and makes) some more 3's...we'll definitely need it.
