Buckeye Bracketology

Anybody out there wanna make some predictions as to where the Buckeyes finish in this season NCAA tourney? I'm going to say the Confidence they've been playing with carries them to the Elite Eight but the inconsistency of the role players won't be enough for another final 4.

If they make it to the elite eight they're probably playing well enough that they could make the final four IMO

I predict a sweet sixteen and with the right matchups an elite 8 is possible.  I told my buddy today that when this team is at their best there is no team they can't beat and when they are at their worst their is no team they can't lose to.  It makes them a very difficult team to predict in the NCAA tourney.  They could go down in the first round or cut down the nets.

This sounds about right to me.  I know the talent and defense is there for the Buckeyes to make a deep run but if DT is off and no one else is playing well on offense then a first round exit is possible. I tend to think their excellent defense gives them a shot against anyone, so I think a Final Four run is possible but unlikely.  It all depends on the bracket and with a few upsets you never know what can happen.  All I have to say is I like what I've seen the past few weeks and the team looks like they are playing together and understand what it takes to win.

Depends on the draw.

I agree with all of you I just like the basketball they've been playing lately and I think they honestly could beat any team in the country and win the title, but if the old February bucks come out they could lose in the 2nd round.

Impossible to tell untill we know who were playing

Remember when we had a FF potential team but saw Kentucky in the S16?

Funny thing about this year is we are that potential 4 seed that no number 1 seed wants in their bracket

Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite

This is a team that could win a NC or lose in the first round. It all depends on matchups and which Buckeye team shows up. There is no dominant team this year, a lot of teams have realistic chances at cutting the nets down when it's all said and done.

The Bucks have a pretty good shot if they get a good draw and the same Buckeye team that's beaten Indiana, UM, and MSU shows up for the tourney. Heck, if that team shows up, there's not a single team that we wouldn't be able to beat. But if the same team that was blown out @Illinois, @Wiscy, and home against Indy shows up . . . . well  .  .  .  we'd be lucky to get past the first weekend.

Depends on the draw of course, but if they bring the effort on defense like they did @ IU, I think they can play with any team.

DT is bound to come out of his shooting slump. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops 30 on someone in the B1G or NCAA tourney.

I'm gonna say the boys make the Elite 8. Which would make a very successful season in my opinion.

As long as they don't play Kansas the sky is the limit.

I think Duke would be a problem too now they're healthy.
