Through some of the other threads, I have found some people that believe a B1G Tournament title is better than a regular season title.
I can't see the reasoning in this.
In a regular season, you play every team. You have to go to their place at least once most of the time.
With a tournament, you can get hot and win 4 games to win.
Don't get me wrong, I love me some good NCAA basketball tournaments...
But IMO, B1G Regular Season Title > B1G Tournament Title
Thoughts?

I've definitely always been partial to a regular season crown, as well. It reflects a team's body of work over an entire season, rather than just over a long weekend.
Each year we see some undeserving teams from smaller conferences win their conference tournaments while the regular season champs go home. It does create excitement for conference tournaments, but I always feel bad to the regular season champ who heads to the NIT.
regular season title i think is more valid and important.
Yeah I agree with you guys. There's no way I take a tournament championship over a regular season one.
There are a few people who disagree though.
Tourniment title. Its not shared and i can only laugh at shared titles.
As much as I agree with OP, I almost say tournament title, assuming you're a bubble team or need a win to get into the big dance; I.E. UCONN 2011.
Well, I'm talking specifically for Ohio State. Obviously there are going to be exceptions to the rule for mid-majors who NEED a tournament championship to get to the Big Dance.
But for Ohio State, if you win a regular season title, you're in.
The regular season title means more to me. It involves more than a handful of games played within a few days. This year however the tourney championship might mean as much to me IF it ends up in a 4 way tie.
True...
With a 4 way tie, we could end up playing 2 out of the other 3 teams to win the tourny
