ESPN just released a list of the 75 best college basketball players in the ncaa ever. Jerry Lucas was the only Buckeye coming in at #8. Lew Alcindor was #1

Jim Jackson and Evan Turner should be on the list
it seemed like a lot of weight was put on how the player did in the ncaa tournament
The fact that this list doesn't include Pete Maravich is rediculous. Average 40+ points a game before the 3 point line and would have been over 50 with it. But I guess holding numerous NCAA records isn't something ESPN looked at.
This. Maravich will forever be number one, guy is untouchable as a college player.
No Titus?
if there was a list of best walk ons in college history he would be #1
Lew/Kareem.
Grant Hill, Latner, Bob Hurley, Worthy, D. Coleman, Glenn Robinson, Ray Allen, Gary Trent, Duncan just to name a few.
No love for Buckeye Clark Kellog?
Where were Walton, Wilt, and Oscar ranked?
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
It was the top 75 in the NCAA Tourney. Big difference and why Pistol Pete was not in there. The poster here should have clarified that.
sorry i did not realize that
No problem. Just another well deserved bashing opportunity for our friends at ESPN.
A couple names come to mind, thinking outside the obvious guys and not seeing the article. Keith Van Horn (UTA), John Wallace (SYR), Tony Delk (KY), Kemba Walker (UCONN), Mateen Cleaves (MSU), Danny Manning (KAN), Miles Simon (AZ).
kemba and cleaves were both on it
