I don't know if there are many NBA followers, but I happened to have the game on and could not stop laughing during the first half at Chris Bosh's 3 airballs and 2 nut-megs. Might be the worst ASG showing in recent memory in any sport.
On another note, Kyrie Irving, folks. Won the 3 point contest and just abused Brandon Knight. Dude could easily be CP3 (or better) in a couple years.

I am very excited about kyrie. Hopefully, when the time comes to renew his contract he won't pull a lebron
To be fair, LeBron did re-up with CLE after his rookie contract.
Sort of, He/Wade/Bosh and a few others signed shorter 3 year with option years for a 4th. At the time that was completely unprecedented.
Well, yeah, I know what they did. But my point was that James didn't leave after his rookie contract ran out.
Can't say enough good things about Kyrie Irving. Kid is not even 21 yet and he's a special player. I'm a big fan.
In case you missed it
This was amazing, by the way.

I would give you a +1 if I was allowed to
Pick up your feet, turn your corners square! And DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!
+1 Sick!
Man, I remember when The Cavs drafted him and people were pissed because they didn't take Derrick Williams...welp...yeah, how's he doing?
I'll be the first one to say i was a bit skeptical, only because he played like 11 games in one year at duke.
Kyrie is an absolute stud. Never seen anybody so clutch.
Irving deserved that starting spot over Bosh, no doubt. Bosh shouldn't be considered an all-star at all.

Yeah, I understand why Spoelstra went with Bosh, but it certainly doesn't make it right.
Yeah, if I'm a coach I'd probably rather avoid second half locker room tension for my title contender/favorite team, and just play the worse guy in the game that doesn't matter at all.
Uncle Drew is out there ballin!
He's easily a Top 3 PG in the league right now, and will most likely be the best PG in the league within two years. He has a better shot and handle than Parker, Paul, Westbrook or Rose and while he might not be as athletic as Rose or Westbrook, his level of athleticism is still pretty elite anyway. Kid is a special talent, and is surrounded by a good young core of Thompson, Waiters and Zeller.
You didn't mention Rondo, who is known as more of a distributor than a scorer, but your point is still valid.
Rondo isn't that special to me. His 11.1 assists per games is very nice, but 13.7 points per game is pretty mediocre for a big time PG. Also his PER is lower than 20, whereas Irving, Westbrook, Paul, Parker and Rose (last year), all have a PER of 20 or higher.
I agree. But his name is generally brought up in the discussion of top PG's.
Just imagine if Lebron returns to Cleveland in 2014. Cavs could finally break the Cleveland title curse
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Definitely. As a Cavs fan I got over that whole 'Decision' crap a long time ago, and with a starting five of Irving-Waiters-James-Thompson-Zeller, Cleveland would easily be a title contender.
Toss Andy V in the mix there as well.
Now that we have Speights, I think he should be traded for some more pieces. Its tough for me to say that as a HUGE Andy fan but we need to continue the trend of young talent being brought in around Kyrie. Maybe we could somehow finagle a deal with Minnesota for Kevin Love? (Dream scenario)
Pick up your feet, turn your corners square! And DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE!!!
I'm in favor of the Cavs trying to shop him for whatever they can. His injury history is just too much to handle with the Cavs trying to build a contender. I love what he's done for the organization, and he really came on strong to start the year, but he gets injured far too often to be kept as a piece for an (hopefully) eventual title contender.
I'm not opposed to shopping him, but the rumor (so take it FWIW) I heard tossed around was the they might be holding onto Andy because him and James were/are buddies and keeping him could help their chances of bringing James back to CLE.
Would love to see the man return, "home", but since folks acted as if he went all Django on Ohio when he left, I just don't see him returning.
Lebron has already said he's not opposed to it. Gilbert has already apologized both to Lebron and publicly. The only animosity left in Cleveland is some bitter fans, who would stop caring as soon as Lebron started winning them games.
Count me in the group that wants him to return to Cleveland. "Decision" or not, in 2014 He will still be a top 3 player in the NBA barring injury
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Chris bosh just embarrassed himself last night with the dribble between his legs, air balls, and funny pictures
And apparently Lil Wayne joined in on clowning on Bosh as well.
Read a cool article on Kyrie in jan issue of espn the magazine. He learned to play on a hoop with a broken backboard so was forced to learn all kinds of different shots and spins. Credit to his pops for spending hundreds of hours with him in the drive way.
