There are 2 NBA scouts in front of us tonight... They both here for, wait for it.... LaQuinton Ross (first and foremost). I know he has the highest ceiling on the team but surprised they think he might be ready to come out this year.

Cool. Are they from Cleveland?
I'd really like to see Thomas go pro this year and give Ross a full year to shine. I think he could make a leap similar to what Turner did a few years back.
I get what you're saying, but Ross doesn't have the all-around skill set that Turner did/does. Q may make the leap in scoring, but that's about it IMO.
Evan Turner has Tremendous desire, work ethic, attitude and want-to. That's why he improved to where he's gotten to today. He really earned it. Love that kid.
Wow, bad game for them to be there for Q. Secures him for another year.
Yeah...They had Q chasing a guard around in that motion offense and he never got a look at an open 3 with that zone NW was running. The Bucks were lucky tonight. Without solid outside shooting they will likely continue to struggle against most decent teams playing zone.

Got a few questions as to if Thomas or Ross are good enough ball handlers (seem to be less than comfortable dribbling when pressed by defenders) or quick enough (defensively or without the ball on O) to play in the NBA.
Hope they get a chance though. I always thought Ken Johnson, Terrance Dials and David Lighty would have made solid NBA role players.
My hope is if Thomas does not rate a 1st round pick that he stays. The longer the year goes the further he seems to drop in the ratings.

Thomas had a tough night, but recovered. The biggest thing he did was get down on that block and get us some tough baskets down low, and got to the foul line. The guy is versatile and can hurt you in a number of ways, even while having an off shooting night. I think scouts have to like that.
