This may have been the best "team" game we have played all year. Everyone was involved in the scoring...not just Thomas. Craft was a defensive beast as usual and Amir showed what we have all thought he could do. I was a pessimistic a few weeks ago, but I think this team can make a good run in the tourney!

We really need a legitimate secondary scoring threat. We aren't going deep in the tourney unless we can get someone to step up. We have great defensive players and Deshaun is a beast but the Michigan game just shows what elite perimeter shooting can do for you.
Agreed, but even if we had three more legitimate scoring threats, what would it matter if the point guard doesnt get the ball to any of them when it matters the most?
BammBamm is my dog, Riley is my 4 yr old daughter, and THE Ohio state Buckeyes complete the three most sacred loves I cherish
As long as they can get somebody to step up and compliment DT on offense each time they take the floor in the tourney, they can make a run. It doesn't have to be the same person every game. One night it can be Ross, the next it can be Smith or Thompson. As long as someone proves to be a 2nd scoring threat on any given night, this team becomes that much more dangerous. Where the problems will come is if DT is the only person scoring, or if DT has an off night.
Class of 2010.
they didnt look too bad, i figured a loss worse than it was, i never expected the game to go overtime. craft was fouled at the end, but oh well.
If it takes Michigan shooting the absolute lights out from three in a home game to beat us by 2, I think we're the better team. If that game is in Indy at the tournament, I'd say we win it.
I was going to post something similar. Excellent game Bucks! If only Hardaway wasn't shooting lights out in the second half, the Bucks would have taken it in regulation.
Q should have been playing a lot more last year and this year. He could be so much better and more confident at this stage or his career.

Uh, I don't like moral victories. Start beating top 25 competition.
Indiana game will be a better measuring stick. scUM is always a big game. Show up and beat IU then my argument is more valid. Had to take my scarlet lenses off...
The 2nd scoring threat played over 22 minutes last night and had 16 pts.
Q's Averages when he plays 20 minutes a game
12.2 PTs 59% FG 56% 3PT 81% FT 5 RBs 1 Assist 2 TO 1 STL a game.
That is with an AVG of 23 minutes a game if you take every game he played 20 minutes in.
Nothing against Sam Thompson he is a great defender and I like him too but he is AVG 24 min a game and that is EVERY game Q's was only 11 games he got 20 minutes or more.
Sam gets 6.9 pts 48% FG 31% 3PT 70% FT 3.4 RBs 1 assist 1 TO .8 STL a game
Even Smith JR getting 28 min a game gets
10.5 pts 45% FG 51% 3pt 68% FT 5.3 RBs 1.7 assist 1.5 TO .5 stl
I am not saying Ross should start over either or they are not as good, Smith is really I think the glue to this team he does a little of everything in the mold of Lighty.
However Ross needs more minutes, the more he plays his scoring would only get better and he rebounds and apparently when he plays enough he gets steals. More importantly he can shoot the 3 AND he drives to the hoop and gets fouled.
