I've never cried over an Ohio State loss. My response to an Ohio State loss(in football mainly) is going to sleep. Though I usually wake up in a bad mood. lol
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
Last time I cried tears of sorrow in a football game was 1987 with "The Fumble". Last time with OSU was the 2002 BCS, and they were tears of joy. Don't recall any tears of sorrow, but I was wound up and pissed off after the Texas game in 2005. I knew what kind of team we had and knew what a vistpory meant for the winner ... and that rang true for Texas (I mean Vince Young U). I have to admit, I get a little choked up before the game when I'm in the stands and Carmen Ohio comes to an end ... How Firm Thy Friendnship. Sometimes depends on how many beers I have!
Poor kid. Guess he should get used to it though.
northwestern in 04 was pretty hard to watch
I was at that game ... with no beer inside the stadium to help me through it. All I remember was Zwick wobbling the ball and us getting bubble screened til we bled.
I've cried about sports but once. Story time:
I was 5 years old in 1997. My dad informed me that Jaret Wright was getting the start in the deciding 7th game of the World Series against the Marlins. I promptly had a tantrum, because at a young age, I knew ole' rusty shoulder Wright wouldn't be able to pull it out. Despite only giving up a run, Wright would exit in the 6th, presumably due to the fact that he was in horrible shape, because he definitely was. The Indians lost in the 11 innings, the last time they would even sniff the MLB Championship for 10 years. I cried again.
I guess you could count that as two times, but they were on the same day.
