Unless Thad has lost his team (for what would be career first) I think the Bucks will play one of their best games of the year tonight. After a huge embarrassment, there should be a ton of energy (at a level teams can only play at a few times a year) and I suspect Thomas and Craft will keep them pumped all night. Glad I'll be there in my seats to see it.
Unfortunately, they just have too many weaknesses to win the bigger games consistently. We've always had an inside/out game under Thad, but this year we aren't good down inside and we don't have any consistent / deadly 3 pt shooters. Thomas is the only real scorer right now and he's really a mid-range player/shooter who is good at getting some shots inside, but he's no big.
No bigs and no guards that can shoot is definitely not the recipe for a deep tournament run...It's possible if they somehow get hot shooting and play their best on D, but I just don't see this team stringing multiple wins together against tourney teams, who will likely have better shooters and/or an inside game.
Minnesota did have an atrocious game against Iowa. I say the Bucks win in a slim one, however someone else will need to step up besides Thomas.
Playing at home. I like our odds in a closer than it appears 10 pt victory. 67-57 Buckeyes
I think they blow them out on pure energy and great D pressure that turns them over a lot...but again, it's not something that means we're gonna get consistent and all is well.

Watching this team struggle against everyone including the bottom half of the B1G makes you wander how certain high school all Americans can flounder to this degree. Shooting gets worse and worse and big men getting their butts handed to em every night. Come on coach....teach!

Thanks Capt... We can play with and potentially beat anyone in the country, but just not good enough or mature enough to win big games on the road, and probably not at neutral sites against tough teams.
Here's to hoping we really start clicking somehow, we need Craft, Scott and others to find their outside shots to have any chance.

I think as long as Thomas and one of Craft, Smith, Scott, Thompson, Ross have their outside game going we can play with anyone. We struggle the most when it's only Thomas as a deep threat. If we can have 2 guys per game that have a jump shot that needs respected it opens up so many things in the offense

I really liked the Lenzelle 11 minutes and Amedeo 7 minutes of usage. Get that even and we may actually have something here.
Q has struggled lately, especially the 2 prior games but he's still going to get it together in a very big way.
