While intriguing I can't help but think these guys are freshman in high school, probably 14 years old. Scarier way to think about it: they were barely born in the 90's. Certainly I hope Thad is around and gets them both but this seems like a long way away, such is life in recruiting
Tell that to LeBron James. I actually went and saw him play as a freshman in highschool while visiting some friends at Kent State. I thought the same thing you just said, "how can we be that excited about a freshman in high school?"
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
Obviously the greatest players in the history of the world are Freshmen in high school at some point, I get that. I'm just saying this is a long way off, rankings change a lot. I'd love if these 2 guys turn out to be better than Lebron and they both sign with Ohio State, don't get me wrong.
Oh I agree. I was just saying that sometimes theres a kid who's a rare physical specimen and you just know. Trust me I didn't have high expectations when I went to see LeBron but when I saw him play that day......this is pretty much the face I made:
"I'm One Bad Buckeye, and I approve this message."
Thad Matta already extended an offer to VJ King. Seth Towns is the best player on the best team in the state. So I think that merts some hype. In his first high school game he scored 22 points in the Clark Kellogg classic. He is 6'7 as a freshmen and shoots from all over the floor and handles the ball really well for a guy his size. If he grew 3 more inches and was able to keep up his shooting skills your looking at a Chris Bosh type big. If he stays the same height and just fills out he can be a dominating Small Forward. Basketball recruiting is much easier to gauge at a young age then football is. Because physical development doesnt matter as much ala Kevin Durant not being able to bench 135 in college.

Sullinger committed as a freshman in High school as well.
