A lot of rumors about Matta changing the starting five. I'm hearing that the change may be Scott for Thompson. The starting five would then be Scott, Craft, Smith, Thomas, and Amir. Not sure if it will happen or not, but this is supposedly one of the options the staff is discussing. Scott is clearly one of the best five on this team right now, but I don't know if I like going small to start. One thing I would like to see this team do more is press. The half court offense struggles, so the team needs to create opportunities off it's defense. With Scott and Craft as two of the best on the ball defenders in the conference (if not the country), the Bucks could spot press more to try and create more transition buckets. Others thoughts on the starting five?

would like to see ross, craft, scott, smith and thomas as starters. and i would like to see the full court press used more often, like 75% of the time.
Not sure if this team can press with Q on the court. He continues to really struggle defensively. I was really hoping he'd be a bigger contributor by now.
The problem with this years lineup is that we have too many similar players at each position. At the PG we have Craft or Scott (good ball defenders, no pure scorers). We have no pure shooting guard on this team so at the SG/SF/PF we have Thomas, Smith, Ross, Thompson (too slow to cover a talented #2 or 3 and too small to guard a big #4. At the Center we have Ravenel and Williams (very limited offensive skills).
The ball better start going through the bottom of the net or this could be a disappointing season.
The problem with this years team is we have no rythm and continuity. They play like they don't know each other. Impatience and very poor shot selection compound the other problems .
