From what is out there it sounds like Wiggins is not going to be a Buckeye according to many. But I hold out hope!!!

Or reach a little on a RAW 7 footer. I am not usually big on reaching but you can't teach 7foot. Sam Edwards is still out there and is low rated and VERY RAW..but who knows?

Also it seems we have a TON of 6'6-6'7 SF wing combos coming in the next couple years. Bates, Tate, Loving and I seen Justin Jackson has OSU in his top 6.
So in 2014 OSU would consist of.
PG - Shannon Scott
SG- Kameron Williams, Della Valle,
SF- Sam Thompson, LaQuinton Ross, Tate
PF- Loving, LaQuinton Ross, Bates-Diop
C- Amir Williams, McDonald
So it seems to me in 2014 since Bates-Diop and Tate are in the fold already the NEEDS are PG, C, and PF or size in general a PF/C combo player like Okafor would be nice :) but of all the remaining "offers" only two are 6'9. The other PFs are 6'7 like Bates-Diop.
I figure the future teams will be more run and gun style offenses, due to the wirey lengthy athletic types Matta has been recruiting. Maybe size will not be needed?
I read that he just offered some 6'10 or 6'11 kid and had an assistant look at a guy who i believe is in N.C.

We need another big man this year and bad. Amir isn't exactly playing at an elite level and Mcdonald hasn't had any meaningful minutes. We absolutely need to find one more big for this year in my opinion.

I think the staff would like to add one more for '13. Obviously Wiggins is a long shot but you recruit him til he signs with someone else. Schilling is definitely a real possibility and is originally from Chicago so proximity may help some there. I think OSU needs a big man, but like other years they won't reach.
I wish they would take a "project" for a big man in the next class. I like the idea of having someone in the system for a couple of years when Amir Williams and Trey McDonald graduate. Matta has never been known for going deep into his bench so he generally has room for someone to spend a couple of years developing.
Watching Tate play reminds me a david lighty coming out of high school.....needs to work on his shot to be a 45 percent shooter but plays outstanding defense and does all of the little things to get 50/50 balls

A 16 year old probably could grow a bit more in terms of Bates-Diop and the other targets. Do they currently even have room for 1 more in the 2013 class or does that require Deshaun's early exit? That would make it difficult as we saw with Sullinger last year.
Right now I believe they only have 10 guys on scholarship, and 13 is the limit. With Ravenel gone next year and Thomas (more than likely), that puts them @ 8 and only adding 2 (Williams & Loving) for 2013 so far, puts them back @ 10. So they do have room, but I would guess they might only take 1 more to 2013 to save room for 2014.
