I didn't see this posted today, but did anyone see this video? This freethrow is embarrassingly bad!
EDIT: Here's the link, I can never seem to get the videos embedded correctly!

That's just weird. You want to say that maybe it slipped off his hand, but the height of the shot negates that I think.
I know, I was thinking that at first, but he did get some hangtime on it that's for sure.
It's a good thing APP ST plays football better then they shoot free throws!
"Because I couldn't go for 3"
ouch
Still shoots em better than Dwight Howard.
oh my - that - was - terrible
it was almost as if he had after game meal on his mind and was distracted
it's like "umm hey guys...should we go get sushi or spaghetti after this contest...or maybe some spare ribs. oh yeah, oops I have a foul shot coming up!"
ahh....I've seen worse!.....lol
Once saw one slip off the hand of the shooter and hit a kid, who was concentrating on the rim, in the side of the face. Everybody who saw it lost 10 IQ points and had the word 'DERP' rattling around in their head for a couple days. I still haven't fully recovered.
I once saw a kid try out for our junior high basketball team and during the layup drills, his body does this wierd kind of a slinky motion every time he took a dribble. His body would kind of slink up and down between dribbles like a cartoon character and when he got to the basket, he went too far under the rim and tried to sort of do a finger roll type motion. The ball hit the bottom of the rim and came back down and hit him in the face and he flopped onto the court like a dying fish!
Then his senior year, at a different school that I too went to yet again, he decided to try out for the team again. Same result as in junior high! It was the funniest thing I think I've ever seen in sports! I wish I could have video'd it cause in all my years playing and coaching basketball, I have never seen anything quite so....unique......lol
There was a kid on my HS team kinda like this. Not movement wise but it was unknown how he made the team. Just a dishrag of a kid & an awful Bball player. He only got in in blowouts but whenever he got in everybody was pulling for him to make a basket. He never made one and that is one of the biggest disappointments of my athletic career.
I've seen 5th grade girls with better free-throw form than that. Wow

Shaq should give this guy some tips
I think the sun was in his eyes

There's a new candidate for worst FT ever.
Here is the video that the OP linked to. Which is worse? Or are they about the same in terms of awfulness? Both pretty bad, IMO.
Hmm. The top is worse only because her form is so compact and strange.
the top one looks like one of the old 2 hand set shots gone awry
Battles are sometimes won by generals; wars are nearly always won by sergeants and privates. Football is no different, the guys down in the trenches win the games, not the coach.
Air ball! Air ball!

Does the infield fly rule apply?

title ix ruined my life
LOL ^

For real though....... title IX does way more harm than good. Athletic programs don't add womens sports programs to fulfill the requirements, they cut mens programs.
I'm with you guys. It's another example of big government ruining something good.

I disagree, the intent of Title 9 was to increase opportunities for athletic participation. The problem is in how the courts have chosen to interpret the law which has led to programs shutting down unnecessarily. Change the interpretation of the law by the courts and many of the problems go away.
Also it is impossible to deny that women have more opportunity to play sports than prior to Title 9.
