yep. Just because OSU was voted #7 doesn't mean they are. 3 months and some change till the March Madness. Hopefully they strap on their boots and get to work. Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois and Indiana will surely give OSU some serious challenges. Hope they work it out. Me no likey N.I.T, but OSU just seems to be shooting while blindfolded
^^^^ copy and saved. Relax people, Kansas is very good and we lost. Doesn't mean we won't make the tournament or not a top 25 team. Yes they have holes, but they're still a very young team that will only get better, it's December 22nd.
"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."
This. There's a lot of woe is me posts right now and not much appreciation that our two losses are single digit losses to top 10 teams. I understand those are the two good teams we've played and we haven't passed either test but let's wait and see. I think this team will come along just fine, grind out some tough bigten games and be a comfortable single digit seed in the NCAA tournament
Dang, I've been hating on this OSU team since the preseason, but even I'm not this pessimistic. They hung tough with Duke on the road and had a horrible shooting performance today. Remember the home loss to Michigan State last year, and THAT horrid shooting? The same Buckeyes made it to the Final Four, and that game was in February. It's still December.
We lose on the road to the #1 team in the country after leading most of the game, and to a top 10 team that is a terrible matchup for us. Now we suck and will end up in the NIT? Wow. I would love to hear where those other 11 losses will come from. My guess is 6 more losses...@Illinois, @MSU, vs Indiana, @Indiana, conference tourney, and NCAA tourney.
We match up terribly against Kansas in the half court. Not as true against the good big ten teams. Im sure the stupid overreact crowd probably also said we wouldnt make the sweet 16 last year. We arent top 5 unless laquinton and lenzelle can make a few shots. But we wont go against Jeff Withey every game....
Oh and hey. Did anyone else notice that if we defend any of 3 baseline out of bounds plays and block out on 2 free throw misses we probably win or make it very close... They had a 4 point possession off a missed free throw rebound.
We just aren't shooting well as a team...we'll have some better shooting nights but this won't be a good shooting team...we need to rely heavily on D and easy baskets. This is one of Thad's most athletic and fast teams, but probably his worst shooting team since he's been here. Poor shooting with no real inside presence is going to be a huge challenge .
Exactly. As bad as we shot, which is very hard to duplicate, we were just a couple of stupid baskets away from a win. Our defense will give us a chance every game no matter who we are playing.

The greatest coaches in the country can't win when their guys shoot 20-65.
2 for the final 21 behind the arc. Puke.
This team will not make it to NCAA tournament unless they take 8 Big 10 teams. I predict 13 losses minimum.

Can he dunk it?
Jk... But yeah, we are overrated, it happens. Lost too much offense last year, seems as if we just couldn't reload.
