KU Out of bounds plays

Thad got completely schooled on the out of bounds plays by Kansas underneath the rims, normally a strength for the Buckeyes (not to mention we got nothing offensively on our out of bounds plays).  Anyone else notice this? I'm pretty sure we switched to zone late and it still didn't matter.

Yah, we got beat 3 or 4 times.

1 time, they missed the layup, but got the offensive rebound and got fouled (the offensive rebounds all night make me even madder than the inbounds).

It was Williams' fault at least twice.  He does what he is told, but either doesn't have the instincts or the experience to handle a great team like KU.  Hopefully it is just a speed bump on the road to him becoming good.

Another time it was Craft, who tried to bait the pass, but then got muscled on an inside move to the basket

The last or next to last one it looked like it was LQ Ross' fault, but I couldn't tell whether it was or not

The buckeyes never switched to a zone, and have played the same defense against inbounds plays since Matta got here. They switch everything, and trap the corner. The problem was that Kansas has played them twice in the past year, and have a really good coach in Self. Kansas ran a screen the screener play for McLemore twice where the switch was confused and wasn't communicated properly (leading to the two lobs). On at least one of these it was Thomas that should have switched onto McLemore. Another play had three guys clear out to the weak side and isolated McLemore with Ravenel on him. Yes, Craft got backdoored once as well, but that was just him being over aggressive and trying to take away the long pass to half court. I give Kansas a lot of credit here, because they obviously worked hard on inbounds plays. OSU probably should have changed up the defensive strategy, but it is the only defense they practice on inbounds.
