Anyone else catch the end of that preseason NIT basketball game between Pitt & scUM?
Wow, scUM got some real generous calls from the zebras. The refs pre-determined they were going to call a foul on Pitt with about 20 seconds left, when Pitt clearly stole the ball, but they called them for a foul.
Then, the following possession - the scUM player stepped out of bounds on the sidelines, but they called Pitt for another phantom foul. Even the announcers, i.e. Dan Dakich, were all WTF about the situation.
In the final seconds of the game, scUM fans were heard yelling "Beat Ohio....Beat Ohio". Lame.
They were chanting "Beat Ohio" because they want to get revenge on the Ohio Bobcats for getting beat by them in the NCAA tourney haha. Don't worry though, the OSU football team will show them their place.
Pitt lost because they couldn't hit a shot down the stretch. Had nothing to do with refs.
Yeah, but that those foul shots scUM was awarded under 30 seconds had nothing to do with Pitt....but EVERYthing do do with refs
