I am going to be in Durham, NC to see the Buckeyes take on Duke - also going to try and see the Women playing in Chapel Hill. Anyone know of any Buckeye friendly strongholds in that part of North Carolina? Any recommendations would be most appreciated.
I'll be wearing my favorite 11W T-shirt, trying to rep our online community :)

Also, I don't know if you're from NC or live there, but be careful. Duke has a wonderful campus but outside of Duke and the NC School of Science and Math, Durham is a shithole and really sketchy.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll be flying in from Tampa, FL. Never been to Durham.
They could really care less about football down there. I lived in the hole that is known as Durham for almost two years and most of the football fans will still talk to you about how NC State should have beat the Buckeyes (in football) years back.
In short, there are no Buckeye spots in Durham because there really are no real "spots" in Durham to begin with....unless it's drastically changed over the last five years, which I doubt. Sorry if this seems harsh, but this was a horrible time of my life as I had moved away from my girlfriend (now wife) and the awesome city of Columbus and was out of my mind trying to get a job back home. The only good things that came from Durham, NC are "Bull Durham" and "Kiss The Girls". :)
Anyways, when I was down there I had to resort to watching the 07' championship game at a Hooters with some scum bag from Akron, OH who thought we'd be best buds cause we're both from Ohio.
Try to spend the majority of your time in Chapel Hill or Raleigh if you can, there's some cool joints in Cary too. Hope this helps. Go Bucks.

NC State probably did/should have won that game. McLendon did make into the endzone, but the refs helped us out on that one. No complaints here haha. NC State fans are the only ones in the Triangle that care about football. Anyway, as mentioned above try and stick to places in Raleigh or Chapel Hill, as they're much nicer areas. If you're there for more than a day, I highly recommend a stop at The Pit, it is the best barbecue in the world, hands down.
