There is a lot of talk about Sullinger in the NBA how he is not going to do well. I disagree for many reasons here are a few.
1. The NBA is LESS physical then in college he will be able to play more one on one, when he loses more weight he will be even harder to guard.
2. He will play his natural position at PF considering most PF's in the NBA just want to jack up threes he will be a inside outside threat.
3. His shooting, his jump shot vastly improved this off season just look at the numbers he shot 25% from three his first season, his Sophomore season he shot 40% from three. Free throws first season 70% Sophomore season 77%. Although he shot just 52% this year as opposed to 54% from the field just a huge drop off.
4. He has been successful at every level and it will continue in the NBA.
I believe Sully's transition to the NBA will be similar to Kevin Love's. They said he wasn't athletic enough and would be bothered with longer defenders. Also look at Kevin Love's numbers from his Freshman season and Sully's this year pretty scary how similar they are. Sully might take a year to get used to the NBA but I think he will be a 20 point scorer in the NBA when its all said and done.
I know most of you will read this and say what is this guy smoking? The good stuff just kidding. Maybe I have on my homer rose colored glasses on but that's my opinion. And only time will tell.
