I don't want to play devil's advocate, but I hope this isn't an implication that he's "hanging it up"/ cutting his obligations to C-Bus so he can move to wherever Sullinger will be playing in the NBA. I know they've said multiple times that Jared will return, but frankly we all know the only person who knows that for sure is Jared himself and he probably won't even truly know until after tourney time. I really hope Sully returns, and it would be even more awesome if Buford returns too! Can you imagine Sully and Thomas with Craft, Buford, and (Shannon) Scott?!?!
Bob Baptist mentioned something Satch said he didn't have an opportunity to see Jared on the road. Now that could mean he'd like the chance to watch him on the road for his sophomore year at Ohio State, or he'd like to watch him on the road in the NBA. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but the man did say that Jared was coming back just two weeks ago.
Yeah, WBNS 10tv has this on their website article about his retirement:
"Satch Sullinger addressed rumors that he was leaving because of the possibility that Jared Sullinger might leave early to make himself eligible for the NBA draft. He said that he will continue to stay at Northland to teach and planned on "going to all of Ohio State's games next year and not just some of them."
I know in the past Satch has talked about how Jared has promised him and his mother he would get his degree.
