Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger earns Freshman of the Week honors for the fifth time this season. The Columbus, Ohio, native averaged a double-double last week and turned in another record-setting performance in the Buckeyes’ 79-57 victory over South Carolina. For the week, the 6-9 freshman averaged 20.5 points and 11 rebounds in wins against Florida Gulf Coast and the Gamecocks. He scored 30 points and collected a career-high 19 rebounds in the South Carolina game. During the two games, Sullinger connected on 15 of 26 (58 percent) shots from the floor while shooting 77 percent (10-for-13) from the free-throw line.
