Terrell Pryor was recently interviewed about Pep Hamilton. Hamilton worked with Pryor in helping him to transition to WR with the Browns. For those of you who don't want to bother with the link, Pryor really liked Hamilton, and thinks that Michigan got a good coach. Near the end of the article, Pryor says about Hamilton, "To be the best, you've got to beat the best." You can interpret this two ways (regardless of how Pryor intended it.) Michigan is trying to improve, and to beat the best (OSU), they have to get the best coaching and best players possible. And as Michigan improves, OSU has to beat them, in order to be the best.
Pryor says about Michigan, "Obviously [Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is] doing a great job. We at Ohio State love the competition!"
One final thought (mine, not from the article): I don't think it was very hard for OSU to beat Michigan much of the last 10 plus years. From the perspective of Michigan players, that has changed. This year, for the first time in a while, they felt they could go toe to toe, and they were actually "competing". The improved competition between the two schools is good for both schools. It will help both schools do what is necessary to play in the National Championship games. What good is it to win the Big 10 championship over weak competition and then get curb stomped in a national playoff game?
