On the real though, I was intrigued by today's report about FSU's culinary allure, having never tried honey fried chicken despite attending FSU. So I tracked down a recipe online and made it tonight--luckily I have a ready supply of honey as my dad is a beekeeper. The result was so-so--flavor was great but it's incredibly hard (much harder than you'd think) to dredge chicken tenderloins in honey, and unless you dry off the chicken completely before dredging it and then rolling it in a flour-garlic powder mixture your breading will flake off during frying, as mine did.

But I'm not disappointed--if I try the recipe again I'll do better.

It got me thinking though, surely I can't be the only cooking enthusiast on 11W.
