taking the plunge this week and finally popping the question to my girlfriend of 4 1/2 years. Been a long time coming. Have everything set up for her parents to be able to witness the occasion and for her friends to be able to celebrate at dinner with us afterwards.

Have it set up where she thinks we are having dinner with college friends of mine, going to use the excuse of them running late, found a beautiful place near our first date that is lit up for the holidays, where I plan on doing it.

8 gotta be honest, I played and coached in a lot of big games in my career (conference championships, NCAA tournaments), but I don't think I've ever been this nervous. Anybody got any advice/ways to calm the nerves a bit?
