Looking at the recruiting rankings, it will be hard for OSU to pass 'Bama. Really, almost impossible. OSU's class is too small.
There is one scenario, however, where OSU would pass 'Bama for the number one class in 2017. If 'Bama loses Najee Harris and Alex Leatherwood, OSU might, just might, pass up 'Bama. However, the cost might be that Harris and Leatherwood go to Michigan.
Choose one, and only one, of the two following options:
- Things stay as they are, with 'Bama having the best class, followed by OSU Georgia, and all the rest.
- 'Bama loses Harris and Leatherwood to Michigan. As a result, OSU has the number one class. And Michigan improves, with two top 10 guys, but the improvement needed to pass OSU and 'Bama is too great.
