I was sitting at my desk today and heard a mispronunciation of a word that made me laugh and sparked an idea for a thread. Working in an architecture office we get subjected to some very big words, often to make things sound more important or "different" than they really are. This is not one of those time.
Anyways, we all do it from time to time and today "masonry" became "masonary" for one of my co-workers. It sounded much funnier in person but I figure there has to be some good ones out there, so feel free to share.
One of my favorites I hear all the time:
"The Ohio State University" becomes "Ohio State"
