Astronomers made a pretty big announcement today that they discovered that another Earth could be circling the star right next to us. Technically it isn't "right next to us" in the sense that it is 25 trillion miles away, but apparently it is described as being in the "Goldilocks zone" - meaning that it may not be too hot or too cold and that water can exist on its surface.
This planet is currently named Proxima Centauri b and we may find out in our lifetime whether or not we have neighbors.
As Chris Clark would say, this news is pretty dope, bro
