The show's host, Bonin Bough, explains his role: "What I try to do is inspire everybody. Look, you're going to start your own business? Great. Here's a roadmap of how you're going to get there."
Contestants, including the people behind Cleveland Bagels and The Proper Pig, compete in a series of business challenges every week with the winner getting a brick-and-mortar location in the Gordon Square Arts District. They're mentored and judged along the way by four local successful business people, including Greenhouse Tavern chef Jonathon Sawyer.
