Columbus was named the top market for tech amongst small markets, based, amongst other things, on the ability to attract, retain and grow talent. It was 23 overall for large and small markets. One dark cloud is it is not one of the fastest growing small markets, Charlotte claimed that spot.
Columbus has always been a service industry based town, which has helped it weather downturns in manufacturing that hurt other Midwestern cities. I wonder how much talent from tOSU stays in Columbus.
