I've always wanted a Buckeye tree. A coworker of mine told me that he has several small ones on his property and that I could transplant one to my yard free of charge. I told my dad about this today and he warned about the toxicity because I live in a neighborhood with a lot of kids and a good amount of cats and dogs. Should this scare me off from getting a Buckeye tree or should I go ahead? Thanks!
