I've had DirectTV with NFL Ticket for a while, but I'm taking the leap and cutting the cord - no satellite, no cable (will still have cable for internet).
Rationale: 1) My kids literally do not watch tv. If you don't have teens, their viewing patterns have totally changed - it's all YouTube, Hulu, and binge watching streamed shows. 2) Too expensive for how little I watch tv in non-football season.
The only thing I am worried about is live sports. I have two bars within a mile walk of my house, so I am covered for emergency situations (i.e. Buckeye games) as needed.
Anyone have experience/advice cutting the cord? Any subscription services you can get that fill in the sports gap at all?
