As I am heading up to Wrightwood tomorrow, and am pretty busy with race preparation stuff, I thought I would post this now for anyone interested in following me as I make my third attempt at completing the Angeles Crest 100. The race starts on Saturday, at 5am Pacific Time.
You can follow me on a map here: http://www.ac100.com/live/MAP/169.htm

While my understanding is that this is one of the better tracking systems in mountain races, understand that there may be delays in updating. We're in the middle of a massive mountain range, much of it without any cell reception. They relay information through HAM radios at each checkpoint.
Also, Jussi Hamalainen, as he goes for his 28th straight finish (every year of the race!), which is a phenomenal and mostly unheralded athletic achievement: http://www.ac100.com/live/MAP/11.htm
After recovering from the race, for anyone interested, one of my friends (also running this race) and I are going to run every trail in the San Gabriel Mountains (not all at once). We'll be describing our adventures here: http://sgtrails.wordpress.com/
