So as some of you know, I live in the neighborhoods formerly populated with Rich Rod and Hoke and a various assortment of now unemployed assistants from TTUN. However, this article is not about my neighbors but rather about what I have been seeing in the skies over my little oasis of normalcy and buckeye fandom. What have I been seeing you ask...well formations of Blackhawk helicopters and fighter jets. Since I avoid the local news (obvious reasons) I did some checking and here is what I found. The US military has been undergoing 'training' exercises in the urban environments of Flint and Port Huron, Michigan. Residents were not notified beforehand and there was even some damage to local buildings. Here is the link http://www.thetimesherald.com/story/news/local/2015/06/08/sunday-night-military-training/28671461/  The irony of this 'anti-terrorism' training in our American cities is that it comes after Baltimore and Ferguson and the poor city of Port Huron can't even afford life guards for it beaches...and you are 235 times more likely to die from drowning than a terrorists attach. You are also 353 times more likely to meet you maker by texting and driving (no LOL). And sadly, 4,700 times more likely to simply drink yourself to death.
