There was this tid bit from SB Nation which notes that Jim Harbaugh was a popular write in candidate for Student Government at -ichigan.

"The -ichigan Daily reports that Harbaugh finished fourth in the recent election with 115 votes. Not bad for someone who wasn't even running!

Harbaugh received 115 votes for president in total, including 82 votes for "Jim Harbaugh," another 18 simply for "Harbaugh" and four for the joint ticket of "Jim Harbaugh and Diag Squirrel."

Do everything Jabril Peppers surprisingly wasnt a strong ticket with Harbaugh tying Jim and his Khakis with one vote each:

"Jim Harbaugh and Jabrill Peppers, Jim Harbaugh and His Khakis and Jim Harbaugh and Jesus Shuttlesworth all received write-in votes as well."

While Jim has been meeting with celebrities to raise his visibility, he is going to have to do the grass roots work, and knock on a lot of doors, next year to win.
