This weekend, Ohio State students finished up the 13th annual BuckeyeThon, a 24 hr dance marathon that raises money to support the treatment of children at the Nationwide Children's Hospital pediatric cancer ward. This year, they raised $1,231,290.11. This is a significant increase over last year's total of $767,277, and blows away the total from my freshman year ($222,518 in 2011). BuckeyeThon has grown into the largest dance marathon in the US, and most importantly, has outraised TSUN ever since they released this video in 2012
Just a friendly reminder that it's not just our student-athletes doing outstanding things.
