LAS VEGAS -- Sports-loving cord cutters can do an end zone celebration dance: Dish Network plans to launch its new standalone streaming video service Sling TV, complete with ESPN, in the first quarter of 2015.
The satellite company's subsidiary offered the first details on the service Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show here.
Sling TV will cost $20 monthly for about a dozen live TV channels including the ABC Family, Cartoon Network, CNN, Disney Channel, ESPN and ESPN 2, the Food Network, HGTV, TBS, TNT, The Travel Channel and Adult Swim.
