Hey I know this is super random, but I'm moving to this area in a few months for school. Anyone have any good recommendations on apartment complexes, good areas to live, places to eat, things to do around the area. Trying to stay within 20-25 minutes of there as I will be on call a lot. Thanks for your help in advance!

I grew up a little over an hour south of there. I think the area is pretty depressed economically but there are good people there. Sounds like you are working a medical residency.  Pittsburgh will be close, and it's a fantastic town.

Ya I'm excited for Pittsburgh not being too far. I also wanna go down to Morgantown for a WVU game cuz I like to experience different stadium atmospheres.

I like to eat at the Steel Trolley Diner in Lisbon, about 20 miles northwest of East Liverpool.  It's old fashioned diner style food, like fresh cut french fries, and 20 kinds of hamburgers with various toppings.

I agree with Knarcisi, Pittsburgh is great and will give you a lot of variety.  Lots of people there like Primanti Brothers.  Anyone reading this who hasn't been to the Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh really needs to go there.  It's a sight to behold.

If you want to find a place to live stay in the Calcutta area or outlaying areas. There's a few apartment complexes around but housing is really affordable throughout the area. There's some good restaurants within a half hour of East Liverpool. The shale tavern is right off of the highway in Elkton. There's a half a dozen pizza places too. There's Mountaineer racetrack and casino across the river. There's a drive in theatre in wv. There's a few state parks, bars, clubs and an off-road area if you got a quad or jeep.

Not much around East Liverpool. Steubenville used to be cool and still has some good eats and bars.

Also any info on  Wellsville, OH, Toronto, OH, Weirton WV, Midland Pa, Lisbon OH

Lots of steel and manufacturing towns. Avoid Weirton at all costs. IMO, it is one of the worst places to live in the area. It honestly smells. Out of the towns you listed Toronto or Lisbon might be the best. I havent rolled through this area in quite some time, but much like the surrounding Ohio Valley it is an economically depressed area. Lots of layoffs and closing the last 5-10 years even before the economic downturn. All that being said, I enjoyed growing up in this area as a kid.
