Usually just park my car somewhere near 4th/Summit or the gateway parking deck then visit tailgates/bars. But for the game on Saturday I purchased a single game parking pass for the Fawcett Center lot (Season Permit Lot). I guess the only question that I have is, what is the rule on leaving your vehicle parked in the lot overnight after the game? The only reason I ask is that I don't drive when I have been drinking, don't want to fight traffic just to park my car somewhere else (would rather spend that time with friends at the bar) and don't want to drive home to Youngstown (2.5 hr drive after a long day).
I tried to do some research but if you can imagine it is pretty vague. Ohiostatebuckeyes.com says "All parking lots open at 5am on game day. Vehicles parked overnight in Football Game Day lots without proper parking permits on display are subject to be towed". I am guessing this is actually referring to cars parked in those lots Friday night into Saturday morning. Can anyone clarify? I am sure someone has run into this question before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
