This thread may have been done before, but I needed to share this with people who understand, as in, not my wife. Today I was hiking in Zion National Park (Utah) and ran into three separate people wearing OSU logo items. The first was a guy wearing an Ohio State t-shirt with his two young kids on a fairly difficult hike. I said 'Go Bucks', and having caught him unaware, he just replied, YEAHH!. The second was a woman wearing a block O hat, kneeling down and adjusting her backpack. I said, OH, and, without looking up, she replied, IO! Finally, another guy wearing an Ohio State polo passed me on the path. I said, less creatively, Go Bucks, and he immediately turned around, jumped up, and high-fived me on he trail. Maybe this happens to you all the time, but living in Minnesota I do not run into a lot of tOSU fans, other than the time someone said to me, Go Bucks, when I was wearing a tOSU long-sleeved T at Costco on the day of the MI game last fall. These experiences restore my faith in humanity.
So my questions to all of you are, where have you recently run into fans outside of Ohio? Where is the most unusual place you randomly saw someone wearing OSU gear? Does this do anything for you besides remind you that you are part of the largest fan base in America?
